- Bottle gourd small 500gm
- Full cream milk 1/2 cup
- Sugar 1 cup
- Ghee 1/2 cup
- Cashews 4-5 pieces
- Almonds 4-5 pieces
- Cardamom powder 1 pinch
- Heat kadhai /pan and pour ghee in it.
- Wash,peel and grate bottle gourd.
- Once ghee is hot add grated bottle gourd in pan and roast it on low flame for at least 30 minutes or till nice aroma comes out.
- Add sugar,full cream milk in pan and mix well.
- Sprinkle cardamom powder and cook halawa for another 10 minutes.
- Garnish kaddu halawa with cut dry fruits and serve warm/chilled.
