Sandwiches are one of the most popular snacks/ meal/ breakfast recipes. The best thing about the sandwich is you can eat it for any meal of the day. As its perfect combination of nutrients and carbohydrates. You can make a sandwich with almost any recipe of your choice and ingredients. Just arrange bread and your favorite accompaniment to make the delicious sandwich. I make sandwiches when kids are hungry and I am in hurry. I like no-cook sandwiches as it takes no time to make it. You can grill sandwiches using sandwich maker/ non-stick pan. Today’s post is about 2-minute sandwiches and which don’t need grilling. These sandwich recipes are made using quick spreads available at home. When you are in hurry next time and don’t want to cook anything, make 2-minute sandwiches. It’s healthy and tasty too.
1. Vegetable sandwich:
Apply butter to one side of bread slices.
Place any vegetables (onion, cucumber, tomato, carrots) slices of choice on one bread slice and sprinkle salt, pepper and chat masala on it.
Cover it another bread slice.
Serve vegetable sandwich with ketchup.
2. Honey sandwich:
Apply honey to one side of both bread slices to make the honey sandwich.
3. Peanut butter sandwich:
Apply peanut butter on one side of each bread.
Keep cheese slice in it and cover with other bread to make peanut butter sandwich.
4. Creamy sandwich: (Sweet sandwich recipe)
Apply cream of fresh milk to one side of bread slice.
Sprinkle 2 teaspoon of powdered sugar on it.
Place raisins like khishmish on the creamy side and sprinkle cardamom powder on it.
Cover with another bread slice to make the creamy sandwich.
5. Nutella / jam sandwich:
Apply butter and Nutella on each side of the bread slice and make Nutella sandwich.
Similarly for making fruit jam sandwich apply butter and any fruit jam on each side of both bread slices.
6. Cheese sandwich:
Apply creamy cheese to one slice of bread and butter to another slice of bread.
Sprinkle salt and pepper powder on cheese.
Place bread to make a cheese sandwich.
7. Pickle sandwich:
Apply butter on each side of bread.
Apply mango pickle on another side of bread.
Place bread to make pickle sandwich.
8. Chutney sandwich:
Apply butter on one side of bread slice.
Apply any chutney of choice like peanut chutney, mint coriander chutney on another bread slice.
Place both slices to make chutney sandwich.
9. Paneer (Cottage cheese )sandwich:
Crumble paneer and add salt, chili, cumin in it.
Add grated veggies like carrot, coriander leaves in it and mix well.
Spread this mixture on bread and cover it with another bread slice to make paneer sandwich.
10. Boiled Egg sandwich:
Crumble boiled egg and add salt, pepper, cumin powder, coriander leaves in it. Apply butter on bread slice and place crumbled egg mixture on it.
Place another bread slice to make the egg sandwich.
