Summer is the season for drinking variety of summer coolers. Aam panna is one of the most popular summer cooler. I remember we used to have 2 month’s summer vacation when I was a child. My place has very hot weather and in summer temperature goes above 44 degree Celsius. So in summer vacations forget playing, we couldn’t step out of the house in afternoon. Watching vehicles on the road by seating by window and drinking aam panna was my favourite pastime. I like that tangy and little dash of sweet taste of the traditional drink. As aam panna is loaded with goodness of raw mangoes, it’s perfect to have it in summer.

My mother used to boil raw mangoes for making aam panna and so do I. But today’s post is about variation in the traditional recipe of aam panna. It’s made using roasted raw mangoes. It needs to roaste unripe mangoes on low falme until cooked on all sides.Sprinkle cardamom powder or cumin powder as per your choice on the delicious drink and enjoy it sip by sip.I’m sure you are gonna love this aam panna.
