What to make for this festival ? is the tough question? And every woman has this question at least once in a while.Mommy has not only to manage children, house, and work but also have to be creative, innovative in the kitchen. When I made sewai kheer thrice in one month, my daughter refused to eat it, saying she has got bored of eating the same dessert at every festival. She declared, if the same porridge gets cooked next time, she won’t touch it. Scared, worried mother started searching new dessert recipe and her search landed on this – Almonds Halawa. Almond halwa is a rich dessert made using almonds /badam.As almonds are said to be brain food,It’s important to include them in child’s diet.I  always make this humble Halawa as snacks for my children. It’s easy to make desserts like other types of Halawa and it can be given to small babies as well. Its nutrition packed almond sweet which tastes absolutely delicious and most likely to be taken by babies.
