Almond halawa is rich dessert made using almonds /badam.As almonds are said to be brain food i always make this humble halawa as a snacks for my children.Its easy to make desserts like other types of halawa and it can be given to small babies as well.Its nutrition packed almond sweet which tastes absolutely delicious and most likely to be taken by babies.
Soak almonds in enough water for 6-7 hours.
Grind peeled almonds with some water or milk to get fine almond paste.
Heat pan and add ghee in it.
Pour almonds paste in pan and roast it on low flame for 10 -12 minutes or it starts separating sides of pan.
Add sugar and remaining milk in pan and mix well.
Cook almonds halawa for another 3-4 minutes and switch odd gas.
Garnish almonds halawa with saffron strands and serve.
