When I decided to be more serious about my increasing weight, The main area of concern was my diet. I noted down my regular diet and found out the culprits for increasing weight graph. I wanted to cut down the amount of bakery and bread from the diet and thus I searched for healthy breakfast recipe option. Actually, I never took the breakfast as an important meal of the day, but the situation has changed. I replaced my breakfast recipes with all healthy and protein-packed recipes. And there is visible difference in my weight (Yes! finally I lost weight,yet to lose few more pounds but there is progress¬† in the weightloss journey.). Chia seeds are nutrition packed food and the perfect option to start your day. I’m having this chia seeds porridge for breakfast once a week since last 6 months.Chia seeds are are rich in proteins. and after eating this porridge it gives the feeling of fullness. It’s easy to make porridge recipe and you can alter it as per your choice as well. Sprinkle choice of dry fruits and raisins to make your chia seeds porridge tastier and interesting breakfast affair. I have used pistachios to garnish my chia seeds porridge and it tasted awesome. You can use soaked almonds as well for adding in the porridge. Instructions
  1. Soak chia seeds in water overnight.
  2. Boil 1 cup water and add soaked chia seeds in it.
  3. Add sugar and mix well.Cook for 5 monutes.
  4. Add milk and mix well.
  5. Add mixed dry fruits and cook porridge for 10 more minutes.
  6. Garnish with raisins , pistachios and serve hot chia seed sporridge.
