Chocolate cake

Who doesn’t like chocolates and when the chocolate is in your cake it’s “Icing on the cake :-)” .Jokes apart me and my kids enjoy  eating chocolate in any form.And for this chocolate love I try to make chocolate recipes often.I bake chocolate cake and especially ,when my daughter’s friend visit our place.Its very simple recipe and anyone can make this delicious chocolate cake spending few minutes for it.I bake this cake on weekends and use it for giving in lunch box of kids as snacks.

I am posting chocolate cake recipe which is easy and makes spongy ,soft delicious chocolate cake.Its prefect snacks for your kids  and tastes well with tea also.This cake needs few available ingredients.If you like icing on cakes then go for your favorite icing or just serve it as it is.After baking chocolate cake ,let it cool and  then cut.Don’t forget to store in air tight container to  have good shelf life.

Instructions
  1. Sieve maida and cocoa powder and mix in one big bowl.
  2. Grind sugar to fine powder and mix with maida.
  3. Beat eggs in separate bowl nicely for 10 minutes at least.
  4. Warm milk and melt butter.
  5. Mix baking powder,salt and powdered sugar in maida mixture and mix again.
  6. Add beaten eggs in maida while stirring the cake batter continusly in one direction.
  7. Add warm milk and melted butter in cake batter and keep on stirring the batter.Make sure to stir batter till it gets ribbon consistency.
  8. Grease cake tin with oil or butter and keep it ready to add cake batter in it.
  9. Preheat oven at 180 degree for 15 minutes or as per your oven settings.
  10. Add cake batter in greased tin and keep it in oven for baking.Bake cake at 180 degree for 35- 40 minutes or till toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  11. Let cake cool down for few minutes before taking it out from tin.
  12. Cut and serve chocolate cake.
