For making coconut chutney fresh coconuts are used. Dry coconuts can also be used for making it ,but it tastes good with fresh coconuts only.(Fresh grated coconuts are available at many grocery stores also.) Its must have side dish for south indian delicacies like idli, dosa ,medu wada.
Beside health benefits of fresh coconut it tastes yummy and can be served as side dish with snacks like fritters, wadas, parathas also.Only precaution is this chutney should be consumed immediately after making otherwise it’s taste changes.Today i have posted simple coconut chutaney recipe ,try making it and let me know how it was in comments section.
