  1. Roast daliya on low flame for 10 minutes. keep it aside.
  2. Heat pressure cooker and pour oil in it.
  3. Add mustard seeds ,cumin seeds and asfoetida in hot oil.
  4. After crackling seeds add ginger paste in oil.
  5. Add chopped green chilies and curry leaves in oil and saute.
  6. Add onions in oil and saute till onions gets translucent.
  7. Add chopped tomatoes and saute for 2 more minutes.
  8. Add fresh peas and saute for 2 minutes.
  9. Once the veggies are cooked add salt, cumin powder and mix well.
  10. Add roasted broken wheat in veggies mixture and mix well.
  11. Add 4 cups of water in cooker and mix well.
  12. Close the lid and cook daliya khichadi for 3-4 whistles.
  13. Garnish with chopped corainder leaves and serve hot daliya khichadi.
