French beans stir fry

 

French beans are rich source of vitamin A,C ,B6 and calcium.I used french beans only for making vegetable pulao , as at my place we didn’t get much french beans. I never tried making french beans curry.

But now I have started making french beans curry with different recipes.Its simple curry which gets ready under 30 minutes and goes well with chapathi , paratha or Roti..Any other vegetables like carrots ,green peas can be added in this curry while frying to make it  more colorful and nutritious. This curry is good option for packing lunch box of children.Give a try to this simple french beans curry , and you will definitely like it.

  1. Wash and chop all vegetables.make paste of ginger and garlic.
  2. Heat pan and add oil in it.
  3. Add cumin and mustard seeds in hot oil.
  4. Once seeds splutter add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute.
  5. Add chopped onions in pan and saute for 3-4 minute.
  6. Add chopped tomatoes in pan and saute for 2 minutes.
  7. Add all dry spices and salt in vegetables and mix well.
  8. Add chopped french beans in pan and cook for 2 minutes.
  9. Add water in vegetable stir fry as per required consistency and mix well.
  10. Cook french beans stir fry for 10 minutes and switch off gas.
  11. Serve french beans stir fry with chapati/roti/paratha.
