Happy mother’s day to all wonderful mommies.I celebrated the day with my two little angels.Currently i’m addicted to baking and I share every new thing I bake on my blog.Today’s recipe is Hot milk cake which is made using all purpose flour ,eggs and hot milk.I like this simple cake recipe as it needs very few ingredients and tastes yummy.
Making this simple,soft ,spongy cake is really easy and anyone can bake it. It’s perfect option for evening snacks for children.As it has good shelf life of 2-3 days i make this cake and store it in air tight container.I pack it for my kid’s snack box and she finishes her snacks box happily.All purpose flour can be replaced with wheat flour in this recipe.Just make sure to sieve wheat flour before using.Enjoy baking and let me know your feed backs in comments.
Hot milk cake
Mix and sieve maida ,powdered sugar , salt and baking powder in big bowl. Sieving will remove any big particles from the mixture.
Beat eggs using beater / hand mixer for at least 10 minutes or upto it gets white and foamy.
Mix milk and butter in pan and heat it to melt butter.switch off gas as butter melts and mixture gets hot.
Add hot milk and butter mixture to beaten eggs and give nice whisk.
Add maida and sugar mixture to beaten eggs and fold in it carefully.Make sure there are no lumps in the cake batter.
Preheat oven on 180 degrees temperature for 10 minutes.
Grease cake tin using oil and pour the cake batter in it.
Bake milk cake in oven on 180 degree temperature for 30-35 minutes or upto skewers inserted comes out clean.
After baking process keep cake on wire rack for 5 minutes to cool down.
Cut and store milk cake cake in air tight container.
